Honeywell 51304437-150 Low Level Analog Input FTA - (MC-TAIL02) can be configured to accept low-level or high-level analog inputs. Low-level Analog (LLAI) inputs include Thermocouples (TC), Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs), or millivolt sources. The inputs are isolated from each other and the xPM, but share a common bus for field wire shields.

In general there are two models of each style of Low Level Analog Input (LLAI) Field Termination Assemblies (FTA), a CE Compliant and non-CE Compliant model. Generally, CE Compliant assemblies are identified by a part number tab number that ends in '25' or '75.'

CE Compliant and non-CE Compliant FTAs have unique model numbers. CE compliance refers to the adherence to the CE marking requirements, which are a certification standard indicating that a product meets the essential health, safety, and environmental protection requirements defined by European Union (EU) legislation. The CE mark is a key indicator that a product can be legally sold in the European Economic Area (EEA).

There are also conformal coated and non-conformal coated FTAs 51304437-150 is Conformal Coated. Conformal coating is a specially engineered polymeric film-forming product that protects circuit boards, components, and other electronic devices from harmful environmental conditions like moisture, thermal shock, static, vibration, and contamination.

LLAI FTA accepts one set of low level analog inputs, such as thermocouples (TC) or Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs). The set of inputs must be either thermocouples or RTDs. The inputs are sequentially multiplexed. One or two FTAs of either type can be connected to one Power Adapter assembly and its IOP.

Most standard FTA types are available with either compression-type or screw-type terminal connectors. The number of terminals for both the compression-type and screw-type terminal connector can vary depending on the type of standard FTA.
