The 51196694-300 Integrated Keyboard (IKB) is one of three physical forms of the keyboard with three options for a screen cursor positioning device, leading to nine different optional configurations of the Integrated Keyboard. The three physical forms of IKB are Desktop, Classic Console (very similar to Desktop, but with a heavy baseplate), and 'Z-Console' (or 'Ergonomic Furniture'), any of which can be ordered with no trackball, a trackball employing the Summagraphics 'MM Series' protocol, a trackball employing the IBM PS/2 mouse protocol. The 51196694-300 version contains a IBM PS2 protocol trackball and is designed for desktop applications.

The major components of the Integrated Keyboard design are:

• Two flat panel membrane keypads. Top membrane is Relegendable Function Key Panel (RFKP).
• A 109 key full travel keyboard.
• An optional cursor control device, initially, a trackball.
• Plastic and metal housing pieces for integrating the components listed above.
