LLMUX2 FTA RTD SS CC CE

Honeywell 51305907-175 Low Level Multiplexer (LLMUX-RTD) Resistance-Temperature Device FTA - MC-TAMR04

  • CE compliant, Conformal Coated
  • Solid State
  • Redundancy not supported
  • Input channels - 16 with Solid State Relays
  • Teminals - Compression
  • Size B - 12 inches (307 mm)

The new LLMUX2 FTA (51305907-175) have a number of enhancements:

  • A separate A/D per channel
  • They use solid-state technology, eliminating the use of mercury-wetted relays
  • They have on-board diagnostic capability

In general there are two models of each type of Low Level Analog Input Multiplexer (LLMux) Field Termination Assemblies (FTA). One model is CE Compliant, while the other model is not CE Compliant. The CE Compliant assembly is identified by a part number tab number that ends in “25” or “75.” The CE Compliant and non-CE Compliant FTAs have unique model numbers.

Some model LLMux FTAs have a local Cold Junction Reference (CJR) on the assembly, while other models FTAs provide terminal connections for a remote CJR sensor. All remote terminations and the remote CJR sensor assembly must be located in the same cabinet. There is also the Resistance Temperature Device (RTD)

CE Compliant and non-CE Compliant FTAs have unique model numbers. CE compliance refers to the adherence to the CE marking requirements, which are a certification standard indicating that a product meets the essential health, safety, and environmental protection requirements defined by European Union (EU) legislation. The CE mark is a key indicator that a product can be legally sold in the European Economic Area (EEA).

There are also conformal coated and non-conformal coated FTAs. Conformal coating is a specially engineered polymeric film-forming product that protects circuit boards, components, and other electronic devices from harmful environmental conditions like moisture, thermal shock, static, vibration, and contamination.

Most standard FTA types are available with either compression-type or screw-type terminal connectors. The number of terminals for both the compression-type and screw-type terminal connector can vary depending on the type of standard FTA.
