This is the first-generation Enhanced Peripheral Display Generator card for Universal Station nodes. It provides the signals for the video display, SCSI control for the Bernoulli or Zip drive, cursor control for the touch screen, trackball, or mouse, communication for the keyboard, and the printer, if present.

The I/O paddle board used with the EPDG2 can be one of the EPDGP I/O cards for non-CE applications, such as the 51304584-100. For CE applications, use the EPDGC-1
(51402447-100) or the EPDGC-2(51402447-200).
