The 30731808-003 Power Regulator card contains the necessary circuitry to convert the nominal 24 Vdc bulk system power to the regulated voltages required by the other cards in the CCFA.

30731808-003 regulator card receives +24V from the backplane, and provides +5V and +/-12V output to its chassis. If a regulated voltage faults, the card communicates the fault to other boards in the file. Test sockets are provided on the front of the card for fault detection and calibration. 30731808-003 replaces 30731808-001 which was interchangeable with 82407465-001

All regulators should be checked and adjusted per the Maintenance Manuals and CRM on a annual basis or more frequently if site conditions warrant it. This includes Basic, Extended, and Multifunction Controllers plus any associated UAC systems and PIU's . The AC ripple test should be made on any regulators over six years in age or those that have been subjected to a harsh (excessive dust or elevated ambient temperature) environment .

WPC installs new electrolytic capacitors of the original specification on this regulator, as shown.
