Honeywell introduced the 30731832-005 processor following the introduction of Universal Controller parts for the Basic Controller and RCD.
The 30731832-005 processor will not work in the Basic Controller or RCD, but was intended for service in the following boxes: HLPIU, LLPIU, LEPIU, OP Station.
This card contains the microprocessor that does the processing for these hiway devices. A single red LED on the card edge indicates that the processor is running.
The original, unconstrained version of this processor, the 30731832-001, is still available from WPC, and can be used in the Basic Controller and RCD in addition to the PIU boxes listed above.
