The High Performance Process Manager (HPM) was Honeywell's most powerful device for control and data acquisition prior to the introduction of the C-300, and remains the most widely-deployed product in its category. Processor power is supplied by dual Motorola 68040 processors, which give the HPM five times the processing power of the PM and APM. Data monitoring and control are supported by a comprehensive range of I/O functions. Control applications can include continuous control, batch control, sequencing control and hybrid control applications.
