This is the +5 Vdc regulator for the High Level PIU Point Card File.
Western Process Computers replaces the electrolytic capacitors on this card with new parts prior to testing and shipment, as shown.
This regulator is used in HL PIU point card files 2-4, and also in the first PCFA if analog input is not used. (For PIUs with analog input, use PXPR21 in the first PCFA).
This regulator provides +5 Vdc at 2.5 Amps maximum. This regulator also contains a power monitoring circuit which indicates a failure of logic voltage if the card's voltage falls below 4.7 Vdc.
