This is the round-robin version of the Hiway Traffic Director logic board.

This card contains the circuitry needed for polling and callup functions, along with the optical isolators, drivers, and logic for preferred access functions.

For LCN systems with a heavy load on the Hiway Gateway, this board permits round-robin equal access to the Hiway. This insures that all preferred devices receive attention during high traffic conditions.
