LLMUX IOP - Low Level MUX Processor MU-PLAM02 (51304362-100). This IOP is not conformal coated. A Low Level Analog Input Multiplexer (LLMux) IOP processes up to 32 inputs from two 16 input FTAs.

There are two models of each type of Low Level Analog Input Multiplexer (LLMux) Field Termination Assemblies (FTA). One model is CE Compliant, while the other model is not CE Compliant.

Some model LLMux FTAs (MU-TAMT02 and MU-TAMT03 TC) have a local Cold Junction Reference (CJR) on the assembly, while other models (MU-TAMT12 and MU-TAMT13) FTAs provide terminal connections for a remote CJR sensor. All remote terminations and the remote CJR sensor assembly must be located in the same cabinet.

CE Compliant and non-CE Compliant FTAs have unique model numbers. CE compliance refers to the adherence to the CE marking requirements, which are a certification standard indicating that a product meets the essential health, safety, and environmental protection requirements defined by European Union (EU) legislation. The CE mark is a key indicator that a product can be legally sold in the European Economic Area (EEA).

There are also conformal coated and non-conformal coated IOPs. Conformal coating is a specially engineered polymeric film-forming product that protects circuit boards, components, and other electronic devices from harmful environmental conditions like moisture, thermal shock, static, vibration, and contamination.
