This is the PROM board used in early configurations of the Multifunction Controller, where the PROM and RAM were on separate printed circuit boards.
The PROM on this card provides the CPU card with routines and subroutines such as the execution program, modulating control, logic block processing, C-Link communication, diagnostics, and the SOPL interpreter.
This ROM card is used in combination with the 82408443-001 8K RAM, 82408443-002 16K RAM or 82408443-003 24K RAM.
The current version of the Multifunction Controller uses the combined PROM/RAM card 82408667-001.
